How to Get PayPal Verified Without a Credit Card

PayPal offers a convenient electronic payment option that is safe and secure for online shoppers. To prevent fraud, PayPal uses special identity verification techniques when you create a new account. One method is to allow you to log in to one of your major credit card accounts online through the PayPal system. However, if you do not have a credit card, you may verify your identity through a bank account to begin using PayPal immediately.

Create a new account with Paypal using your personal contact information. Agree to the terms and conditions to create your account.

Add a bank account to your list of accounts. Enter the account number and routing number to begin the verification process. Once the account is verified, you may begin using your PayPal account.

Select the option to verify your account immediately or within several business days. To verify your account immediately, you must have access to online banking. Log in with your online banking username and password when prompted. If your login information is correct, your PayPal account activates. Alternatively, verifying your account within several business days means waiting for PayPal to make a small deposit into your bank account and confirming the amount.

Save your bank account settings. Each time you make a purchase the money will come from this account. To deposit money into Paypal, you must transfer the money electronically, which may take up to three business days.
